Chilled
water Fan Coil Units used for air conditioning are highly
successful at temperatures as high as 50 °C. We have
installed over 1500 units all over India at the premises
of embassies of U.S.A., Russia, Japan, Kuwait, Hungary,
five star hotels like Maurya, Le Meridien, Holiday Inn,
Oberoi, Japanese School, many more prestigious
institutions.

These
fan coil units (FCUs) use chilled or hot water from a
central source. Each unit operates independently to
circulate air within the room to filter, cool, dehumidify or
heat as needed. Automatic controls with each unit maintain a
comfortable climate in each room. Each unit has 3/8 O.D. copper tubing. Aluminium fin type coils provide
maximum heat transfer and long life giving dependable
service. The special fin making process gives crack-free
collar fins which attain a perfect solid physical bond with
the copper tubes when expanded mechanically.

The
large diameter blowers are designed to run at low speed to
give greater air flow and quiet operation. 2 blowers of
size 7" X 8" long forward curved, multi blade,
double inlet, double width centrifugal type aluminum
wheels specially designed scrolls control air pattern to
avoid turbulence and give low power consumption. The
motors are resilient rubber mounted, 3 speed, permanent
split capacitor type with manual speed selection suitable
for 230 VAC service. All motors are self lubricating and
oil tubes facilitate lubricating these motors
periodically.
The
drain pans
are liberally sized, insulated and extend over
the full width of the coil and
return bends to catch condensate
drip from chilled water valves and fittings. The air vents
require only a twist of the spanner to open manually to
purge the air out of the coil. Duct collars are provided
in the horizontal units for a slip-on type of connection between the units
and supply duct for quick removal and installation of the
unit. The casings are made from prime quality heavy gauge
rustproof steel panels and are reinforced wherever
necessary for strength and long life. Filters are made of
expanded aluminium
mesh and are cleanable type to filter the air to a maximum
degree.
Decorative
outer castings are available for both vertical and
horizontal units on an
optional basis. Rounded corners
with no fasteners visible ensure a
sleek modern look, multi-outlet
louvre air deflectors are provided to deflect the air properly.
